These will just be I don't even know how I would see the world like..I saw the glasses all over Instagram and I'm like oh my gosh they're so cool and then I put them on and I completely forgot that - I don't really think I could see the world very much except literally through rose-colored glasses.
Yeah. When I first put these on Stefan was like oh my gosh you look like that person from that what movie was that? Oh, from Monsters Inc. For any low-light filming or photography I'm actually going to bring a ring light yeah and this will be really convenient because it clips onto my phone and honestly I feel like I'm just gonna fit in in Asia https://oncasinogames.com/real-money-casino/. So coming home I realize these shoes are kind of painful. These ones. The thing that I'm most worried about before I leave is not packing, not forgetting things, is my plants. To leave Stefan with my plants..I'm so worried that I'm gonna come home and they're all gonna be dead. There's lots of different types of people there's the rollers, there's the folders, there's the tossers. I tend to be a folder on the way to the trip and then on the way back home I'm a tosser. From my haul with Zaful I actually kept all the Ziploc bags that they had the clothing in the things that wrinkle easily and this is a trick that I learned in retail, if you put it in a ziploc bag it kind of keeps the structure of your top and it prevents the weight of other things to crush it. Delicates go in the bag and also if you have extra bags - this is something that I never see in people's packing videos you need extra bags because where are you gonna put your dirty clothes? You're not gonna throw it in with your suitcase with your clean clothes that's just gross. So always keep extra bags handy. This is my makeup bag, so aside from the essentials like toothbrush and toothpaste if you guys want to find out more about what I'm putting in my makeup bag as well as my makeup carry-on bag which are two very different things one is more for skincare one is more makeup be sure to check that video. Jewellery goes into the suitcase usually I keep my jewelry in a case like this. Since I'm an earrings kind of girl I don't really mind having them jumbled up, but if I were to have necklaces I know that that would be very troublesome to carry. So the goal is to keep half the suitcase empty and also to keep maybe my carry-on case as empty as possible. For shoes I mean the shoes that I have are not clunky but anything that's the heaviest you want to put at the bottom of your suitcase so where the wheels are. But I also find it so gross do you ever watch movies and then see people jump onto their bed with their shoes on like that just completely escapes me. I don't understand why people do that, if it's just a movie thing? I put my shoes into tote bags or plastic bags and then I wrap them up. Immediate things that I'm putting in my carry-on includes my camera extra batteries, my laptop is gonna be with me, my carry-on makeup bag will be with me. I'm not going to have any books but I'm going to be downloading all the podcasts that I want recently my friend recommended a podcast called hidden brain which looks into the psychology behind human behavior and what kind of things motivates us to do and act the way we do and it's I'm addicted I have so much to catch up on so I'm gonna be listening to podcasts. For sure snacks you know I can't live without snacks. Ok that's it that's everything. I'm packed, and I think I'm ready to go. I'm excited to bring you guys along with me to my Asia trip I hope you guys can stick around and find me on social. I'll still be uploading while I'm gone so in case you were worried about missing me huhu ~ I'll still be here but yeah I'll see you guys when I get back bye!

Hi everybody, it's Letitia. So typical me, I'm packing super last minute. Knowing me, I'm gonna be packing up until the night before and I'm hoping that filming this video will force me to pack at least majority of what I need. But I have some cool tips and tricks for packing efficiently if you want to follow me along on my Asia adventures I'm going to Taiwan and Hong Kong. I'll be posting everything on Instagram @letitiakiu as we go along on the trip.
So yes let's get started on packing. So in terms of clothing, that's the hardest thing for me to pack lightly. Ideally I would pick out outfits for the next two weeks I would wear one outfit twice or at least have some things that I could double up. I want a little bit of color but not too much, and stuff that's very lightweight. So I have this Uniqlo t-shirt that I got recently, and while I really like it it's very heavy weight it's a very thick t-shirt and honestly, you're just asking for pit stains. So I think I'm gonna refrain from heavy t-shirts. The mugginess of Hong Kong is like legit. So I have nothing too tight, a basic black t-shirt is immune to pit stains. This blouse that I'm gonna tie up it's a silk blouse that I thrifted. Then there comes my jumpsuits. All of my jumpsuits are coming with me. These jumpsuits might be worn like two or three times. You're gonna see me in them all the time. Essentially stuff that I can wear without a bra really. For pants I think I'll bring mostly wear shorts. I'm not keen on wearing miniskirts just because of all the moving around that I'm going to do. Oh but the pants that I'll definitely bring are the Uniqlo ones that I got. So guys I have good news I'm on my period right now which means that when I'm on my vacation I probably won't be on my period, but with my fucked up cycle I could be, maybe towards the latter end of the trip. But for now I can wear white pants with comfort. Yes to this right? Body suits. I don't know if bodysuits is a bad idea, because bodysuits don't travel very well. You know when you have to pee... when I was a kid I went to China and then we tried squatty potty's for the first time it wasn't just a squatty potty in the city it was squatty potty outside in the countryside so it was like an outdoor squatty potty and they're great it's fine. You're used to sitting on a toilet you just kind of have to understand the mechanisms of squatty potty and what you have to carry in your arms and if you have a bodysuit that means that you'd have to take off your pants, take off your shoes, hold your pants, unbutton your body suit and then go. And that doesn't sound like a good idea..yeah that sounds like complicated. I'll do this. These shorts that I DIYed recently. Shoes I'm also having a hard time with, I'm not really sure how many shoes I should bring I wonder if I still have my arch supports. Yay still have my arch supports good good good. Arch supports are essential. I have these ones. These will be good for like special occasion and look how tall the heel is, that's it! I also have these ones. So two light pairs, one colored pair and one dark pair. All pretty much flat. I think that's good. I really hope that's good. I'm tempted to bring another pair of sneakers but I really need to stop there. For camera gear, I'm actually going to stay really compact. My favorite thing is this. This is a tripod but it's also a selfie stick it goes long yeah so if I need to be stationary I just pop it up like that. So the camera would be like this and I just hold it like this. So this is how close you would be to me if I were to hold the camera arm's length and I don't think I could keep that up because I'm not that fit. For sunglasses I'm going to bring two pairs. I'll bring my two recent favorites and they're both from AliExpress actually. Ray-ban knockoffs right simple easy to go with. I don't have designer sunglasses anyways but I wouldn't want to bring designer sunglasses because at the rate that I break and lose sunglasses it's just not healthy. And also these really fun ones. Hey guys, Ryan from pause the moment here and today I have an expert travel tip for you guys. I’m going to tell you guys how to hide your money on the road. I’ve done this in a previous video in the past but I have a brand new way to do it. It might not be new to all of you but it will be new to some of you so that’s all that matters. Today I’m going to show you how to hide your money in this little chapstick tube. You’re not going to want to miss this. Alright guys so this tip is going to be really quick and easy. It’s basically for those of you who are looking for a way to hide your money on the road or hide your money when you’re out exploring a city and you want to have some plan b or emergency money on you in case something happens.
This is a great way to do it. You take a typical chapstick. You can find chapstick at any pharmacy. Then you got my lack of US dollars here but I have some Mexican Pesos. Just to give you an example and just to give you an FYI here they’re a little bigger than U.S. notes so its actually going to show you that even Mexican pesos notes work on this. Notes similar size to this will also work. This is worth about forty dollars which is probably a little under what you want to keep on you in case of an emergency. I’d say fifty bucks is probably pretty good. Maybe a little more depending on how comfortable you feel. Here’s the deal. We take the chapstick, we open it up and we spin it all the way out so that the chapstick actually comes out of the tube. Now you’ve got this empty tube, right. It’s a perfect place for putting our money. What we do is we start by rolling our note or notes until we get it all nice and tightly rolled and then we simply insert the money into the tube like this. Now while this looks like it won’t fit because the note is a little too tall, it actually will. All you have to do is throw the cap on here and press down like that and now your cap is on and your money is safe. This is just an awesome tip. I’m sure some of you have seen it around before but you know for those of you who haven’t this is a great tip for those of you wanting to keep your money safe .Realistically, nobody in my opinion, nobody is going to be like hey give me all your money and your chapstick. You know? Realistically they just want the money and the cards and they’re going to take it and run. I hope you guys found this helpful, if you did, I have plenty more travel tips coming your way. Thanks a lot for watching and give this video a thumbs up if you find it helpful. Share it around the web and I’ll see you guys again soon. Thanks. My name is Niall McNamee, I'm 32 years of age and I'm from a place in County Offaly called Rhode. When I was 17 I went to UCD. I was studying an arts degree in UCD and I was on a sports scholarship, I was getting a grant from the government, and I was working part-time over the weekends so financially I was fairly okay in terms of - I had a bit of money to play around with so I used to go to the bookies every Saturday with about 50 euros Casinoslots South Africa.
And in the early days more often than not I won on more occasions than I lost. And I suppose that would have planted a seed in my head of, you know, I can...this can be a way for me to make money and I suppose the buzz of the gambling then kind of got me into this mindset of "Well, Jesus, I won this amount now, this larger amount, and I need to be winning this amount all the time. I need to be earning larger amounts all the time." So as a result of that I started to gamble in higher amounts of money and also the frequency of the bets got more, became more frequent as well, as it used to be just a Saturday and then that turned into a Saturday and a Sunday until eventually when I stopped in 2011 I was gambling like seven days a week basically 24 hours a day. If I wasn't gambling 24 hours a day I was thinking about gambling 24 hours a day. Often if I lost money I'd be going "right I'm never going back in there again" but like 20 minutes later I'd be craving that buzz again and then that would start the process of "okay well where am I gonna get money" or" when can I, when am I getting paid again" or "can I borrow money off somebody to go back" and either win back the money I'd lost or just replicate that buzz and keep it going because life outside gambling for me was very very boring and I couldn't really find joy in like the normal mundane things so for me to go in to have a bet was... It was I suppose my way of kind of stimulating myself on a 24-hour basis. Yeah it was, it had a very negative impact on a lot of people I suppose. The key thing for me when I was in addiction was I never really realized the impact it was having on everybody else. I suppose I was so closed off with my own self and I suppose if it was destructive gambling I was losing my money and I was hurting myself and I was destroying my life - it didn't really have an impact, in my mind, on anybody else. I suppose it wasn't really until I stopped gambling that I noticed the impact it had on everyone around me. So, friends, family and relationships over the years, teammates, all these people were suffering either directly or indirectly from me gambling because my mood would be very very different. There could be a lot of mood swings and say someone could meet me in the morning time and I'd be in great form and then they could meet me in the afternoon and I'd be a totally different person because I would have lost money. There was a bit of an understanding out there that people would have known that I was gambling but probably wouldn't have known the extent of it and also, and this is a big thing with gambling addiction, is it's very very secretive. So I could walk down the street after losing maybe the price of a car and meet you on the street and you'd say well now how's things and I tell you everything that's great in my life you know but I wouldn't mention a thing about the money that I just lost, or I suppose the devastation the gambling was causing for me. I know when I would have told my father in 2011 I suppose that was kind of the moment where I put my hands up and said look I can't control this anymore. As I said, the weeks, it was 2011 and a lot of... I had been gambling and I just my mood was very very bad and I was living on my own at the time and I was very closed off from the rest of the world. There was a lot of isolation there. But my father called down to me host then one Monday night and it was half an hour of him probing and probing a probing until eventually I just, you know what, hands up, this is what I'm doing said I'm gambling, I have been for the last number of years. I can't stop it. I have no control over myself when I'm gambling. So that was on a Monday night and then the very next day I met a counselor from the Rutland Centre in Knocklyon called Gerry Cooney and me and Gerry sat down read Co hotel and had a conversation about my gambling and Gerry then brought me to my first Gamblers Anonymous meeting in Knocklyon in the Rutland Centre that Tuesday night. The following Friday I went and had an assessment in the Rutland Centre with one of the counselors up there. They recommended that I go in for treatment and then the very next Wednesday I went in for the five week program. Tough, tough few weeks in terms of, you know, emotionally trying to deal with a lot of the wreckage that have been caused and stuff like that and the hurt you've caused other people but it was, I will hands up and say it's definitely the best five weeks of my life. The toughest, but in hindsight the best five weeks of my life in terms of giving me a better understanding of addiction and also I suppose giving me the ability now to open my mouth and speak about things that were affecting me, financially and emotionally, because I suppose that was where the recovery started then, and the healing process started from there. The biggest thing for me when I was gambling was I thought I was the only person in the world that gambled the way I gambled. I didn't think anyone else had the same issues. It wasn't until I told my father on that Monday night, and I went to my first Gamblers Anonymous meeting the next night that I started to see another group of people that were the exact same as me. Now the stories were a little bit different, the location might have been different, maybe the sums of money were a bit different, but ultimately the underlying theme was the exact same for me and for them. It was similar across the board. So usually when I meet someone maybe if I'm having a conversation or if I'm in a school I'm talking about my addiction and someone says... you'll see someone...or someone will come up to me afterwards and say "I'm doing the very same thing!" or if I meet someone that maybe a family member has contacted me would you mind meeting up with somebody, they're under pressure, and they'll start telling me this mad story about them gambling and I know by looking at them that they're like they're waiting for me to fall off the chair and say "oh my god I've never heard anything like that that before" but the stories are all the same. And the sums of money don't even matter and I often say this as well I've lost X amount of money but if I had access to ten million I would've lost that as well. It wasn't about the money it was about what was the bet doing for me, what was the impact it was having on my life, what was I trying to escape from, what was the adrenaline rush I was getting from it, why did I need that adrenaline rush. And I suppose I always bring it back to that night when I told me father and it felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders. Really it's an indescribable feeling that I got that night when I told him. And I'd always encourage someone, if its in a school or if it's a family member or somebody - just making that commitment or being brave enough to say, This is where I'm at. This is exactly what's going on for me. And the person that they're telling might not have the answers at all and that's fine too. But it opens that door for the right people to show up and in my case as I said it was counselor and then the Rutland Centre and then that process that followed on from that. So the person that they're telling might not necessarily have the answers but the answers are out there. I never even heard a gambler's anonymous until I went to me first meeting. Never even knew it existed, didn't know what it was. And next thing here this whole new world was opened up to me. Even if someone thinks they have a problem with gambling, they have a problem with gambling. Because that thought hasn't come into their head you know for the fun of it. It's there because it's having a negative impact in their life. Their life has become some way unmanageable because their gambling. And that might mean they're telling lies and they're being dishonest to family members, to boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife whatever it might be. They could be stealing money, they could be making up excuses, they could be minimizing it then as well, and saying now I'm only, I've only had three bets today when I might have had six bets you know all those things you know are I suppose signs that the person themselves know that it's the wrong thing to be doing and that they shouldn't be doing it. And yet something within them just can't stop them doing it. I suppose the reason I'm here is that I can be proof that there is recovery out there for people if they're stuck in the middle of the gambling addiction - it's not easy. That's one thing I will say. A lot of people stop gambling and go back gambling and reason they go back is because they don't deal with the other stuff that's coming up emotionally. So it is, it takes a lot of work a lot of effort but, I suppose the life that I would have now, while it's difficult at times, it's a far cry from the life of living day to day, not knowing, you know, what the next day is going to bring and carry around a lot of hurt and a lot of, I suppose, and shame and guilt around things you would do to place a bet and people that you've hurt in order to place a bet. There definitely is a lot of difficult sides to recovery but ultimately it's you know it's a it's a very rewarding choice I think for people. Studies have shown that smartphones are contaminated with a rare form of bacteria known as the coliform bacteria. From wiping down with the edge of a cotton shirt to smudging the screen using our fingers, we use practically any means necessary to clean these beloved gadgets. They do make the screen cleaner than before, but there are more appropriate methods of cleaning the device.
To assist you in cleaning, this comprehensive guide will prove useful when it comes to detailing practical ways to clean a smartphone or tablet screen. This will in turn save you the hustle of devising ways of cleaning that stained screen. 1. Making Use of a Microfiber ClothThis is by far the easiest method of cleaning a screen, be it a smartphone or a tablet. These cloths, unlike paper-based towels, are gentle on cleaning sensitive glass screens. The risk of scratching them is close to impossible. Oils or dust present on the screen are attracted by a microfiber cloth and are gotten rid of, as opposed to wiping them. This material literally works wonders on any surface, hence the need to stock up on plenty of these. These are the steps involved when using a Microfiber cloth: Switch off the device before cleaning the screen (more so when water is involved), so as to get a clearer vision of the dirt and grime.Move the cloth horizontally and vertically repeatedly. When finished with an area of the screen, move to other areas. Wipe continually until the surface is spotless. 2. Scotch TapeWhen you find yourself in a rush to clean your screen and a microfiber cloth is out of the question, a strip of Scotch Tape will do just fine. It generally lifts dust and fingerprints from the device's surface. How to use it? Stick the tape to the surface of the screen.Peel it off carefully to get rid of unwanted dirt and grimeRepeat the previous step more often to clean the entire screen. 3. UV Light SanitizationWhen it comes to sanitization, water is not an option. It's a fact that alcohol based cleaners pose a great risk to your phone's performance. They're out of the question. If you have $60 to spare, PhoneSoap's UV charger is the right tool when it comes to cleaning by means of UV light. The production of a specific wavelength of light emitted by two UV-C lamps in the PhoneSoap Charger penetrates the cell walls outside the bacteria so as to damage their structure and get rid of them. The product's level of functionality is however uncertain, but it sure is a better preference for true germaphobes. 4. Cotton SwabsThey are capable of getting rid of the the dust and tiny crumbs that give your device's screen that not so pleasing look. Believe it or not, a cotton swab does a better job of cleaning the grime and gunk from unreachable areas of your device. Not only do they clean the screen, but also the corners of other parts including the ports and cases. 5. Rubbing Alcohol and WaterThis has proven to be a better alternative if ever you feel you want to spare that extra dollar rather than spending on countless wipes. It is important to take note of your manufacturer's recommendations before using this method. Apple, for example, does not recommend use of alcoholic products, ammonia and other cleaning substances when it comes to cleaning. These are the steps involved:Purchase isopropyl rubbing alcohol from available drugstores within your area and mix 40% of it with a mix of 60% of water Wet a section of a microfiber cloth or alternatively a cotton square with the water and alcohol solution.Don't apply the mix directly to your phone.Wipe your screen gently usingthe cloth so as to eradicate unwanted bacteria. To get rid of excess on your phone, use the dry area of the cloth. Completing an assignment feels great. After all the hours spent on research, double checking data, and finally getting it on paper it feels wonderful to finally be finished. You went over the formatting a couple of times, tried different layouts and rechecked your font. It looks great.
There’s no need to proofread because the client asked for this to be rushed. They need it for a presentation this afternoon. You know they’ll be forgiving of a few typos. After all, it looks great. There are certain steps we take when preparing a document of any kind. We may do some of them in different order from each other, but we do all the steps for every written piece. We don’t choose which steps to include and which to leave out. We just do them. We don’t decide not to include proper punctuation this time because we are too tired, or we don’t leave out pronouns because we think they should know who we’re talking about. Each and every step is as important as the others. Proofreading isn’t something we do if we get the time. It isn’t an after-thought. People don’t pay a little extra to get their piece proofread. Proofreading and editing of essay is as much a part of writing as the words themselves. The last thing you do when you’re ready to complete your writing is proofread. It does not matter if you just wrote a three line verse or a five hundred page book, proofreading is mandatory. As in our example, if the client doesn’t mind a few typos that’s great. But what if that client makes copies of your document for his clients? Now your sloppy work looks like his sloppy work. Even if you get away with it once, you will not get a second chance. Not proofreading will cost you customers, jobs and your reputation, affecting future customers. Helpful proofreading tips: # 1 Spell check is great, but not for proofreading. Spell check will point out words that need correcting, which may cause you to re-read a word to make sure you got the right one, but it will not read context and will sometimes suggest the wrong spelling of a word. It may insist that you use “they’re” instead of “their.” Don’t rely solely on Spell Check. Proofread. # 2 If you can take a break between writing and proofreading, you will have a better chance of catching mistakes. You will also see other things that you might want to change. The longer the better. Twenty minutes is okay, but a day is best. Remember that, when you are on a deadline. Estimates need to include the time it takes to wait between writing and proofreading. # 3 Writing on a computer all day will give you computer eyes. You will see through the screen of the computer which may show you back what you want to see. Printing off a hard-copy to proofread will give you a better chance to see any mistakes. It will also give you the look of the finished product. # 4 Take the printed hard-copy away from your desk to proofread. Take a colored pen with you to mark the things you need to change, then come back and correct all at once. Don’t’ try to correct as you go. It takes too much time. # 5 Employ your ears to help you with the process. Reading aloud and listening to your words will help find mistakes very quickly. # 6 Ask someone else to read any important documents that you may have to write. It is always good to get a second pair of eyes. They will see a mistake that your eyes have glossed over several times. Remember all the mandatory steps of writing; research, grammar, sentence structure and proofreading. |
